Broads Heritage Day on the Trading Wherry Albion
Wednesday 9th May 2012



Spend a day sailing on the historic trading wherry Albion. Learn about the heritage of the wherries whilst sailing to Malthouse broad, Ranworth. Once there we will walk the short distance to St. Helen’s church, widely know as “the Cathedral of the Broads.” Here you will be introduced to it’s treasures, the Rood screen, the Antiphoner, the Cantor’s desk before returning to Ludham.

Departure 0900. We will arrive back at Ludham at approximately 1700. Bring wet weather gear and sturdy shoes. Snacks may be obtained at St. Helen’s visitor centre.
